Google Drive has always allowed for the use of templates–but the template gallery before was an endless repository of not-so-great looking designs that were difficult to sift through. Now, Google has updated with some professional looking designs for all of its apps:
Docs: docs.google.com/
Sheets: sheets.google.com
Slides: slides.google.com
Forms: docs.google.com/forms
Personally I love these new templates! They look very slick and are designed for the most common uses of Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms. Docs include templates for things like reports, brochures, business letters, essays, newsletters and class notes. Sheets includes templates for things like calendars, to-do lists, class attendance, gradebook, and budgets, and travel planners. Slides includes presentation templates for things like recipe books, portfolios, photo albums, science projects, and even lesson plans. Forms includes templates for things like event sign-ups, RSVPs, contact information, worksheets, assessments, and course evaluations. Great designs, for things you need every day.
I love, love, love using Google Drive in my day-to-day, and with students. Interested in learning more about these great tools? I’m now offering this mini-course on G Suite. Check it out!
