Teaching a Foreign Language with Duolingo

One great resource I’ve mentioned here before is Duolingo.  This introduces game based learning into the foreign language classroom, and is by no means only limited to Spanish.  But one great feature that has relatively recently been released is Duolingo for Schools.  This allows for the teacher to create classrooms and add students, for easy tracking of student progress.  This allows for easy extension of learning beyond the classroom walls (or within them) as students “play” while learning.  See more here:
