We’ve already looked at how to embed media into a Google Form in a previous post, but another great way to utilize videos in your class, is by curating your own YouTube playlists for easy access and sharing with students. Here’s how:
- Log in to Google, if you haven’t already, and then go to YouTube –> My Channel. Here you should see this:
As you will notice, under your name will appear several tabs. Click on Playlists to access this option, and then you can create a new playlist and give it a name. Then any time you find a video you want to add to this playlist, simply scroll down just below the video, where it says “add to”:
And then you can add it to an existing playlist, or create a new playlist to add it to. Once you’ve added all the videos you want to your playlist, just go back to your own channel, click playlists, and then click “share”:
For easy sharing with students. Easy peasy!
